Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine announced after Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Yankees that the team will go with six starting pitchers out of the All-Star break, starting Friday night in St. Petersburg, Fla., against the Rays.
The trio of Franklin Morales, Clay Buchholz and Josh Beckett will face Tampa Bay while Aaron Cook, Jon Lester and Felix Doubront will start against the White Sox in the return of Kevin Youkilis to Fenway Park.
For Buchholz, it will be his first start since June 19 against the Marlins.
